For twenty years, the Davao Bloggers Society has built friendships through events, collaborations, coffee invites, chaotic group chats, and countless moments online. This June, those connections leave the city and head somewhere quieter, colder, and far more unforgettable.
“Weaving Connections” brings DBS to Punta Isla Lake Resort, Lake Sebu, this June 6 to 7 for its annual acquaintance party, elevated a notch as part of the organization’s 20th Anniversary Experience.
The destination alone already feels cinematic. Lake Sebu carries a different rhythm from the city. Mornings move more slowly. The air feels softer. Culture is lived around you. It is the kind of place that naturally invites stories, spontaneous photo shoots, deep talks at midnight, and memories that feel oddly nostalgic as they are still happening.
Members from CDO Bloggers, SOX Bloggers, and Iloilo Bloggers are joining the official trip, turning the gathering into a full creative crossover of bloggers, creators, storytellers, and personalities from different communities across the country.
True to its title, “Weaving Connections” is built around bringing people together through shared experiences. Not through formal introductions or forced networking, but through travel, food, cultural encounters, random bus energy, group photos that take forever, and the small unscripted moments that usually become the highlight of every trip.
We're co-hosting this special event with foodpanda and PLDT Home, in partnership with Hop Inn Hotel Philippines and Punta Isla Lake Resort.
For DBS, this is more than an acquaintance party. It is twenty years of community gathering in one destination.
